Freestyle is an artistic discipline that involves a single flier.
It consists of 3 rounds.
The first two rounds are called the COMPULSORY rounds and are the technical part of this discipline.
The fliers must perform 3 obligatory movements in each of these 2 rounds.
The third round is called the Free Routine and is performed to music. The flier chooses a track and performs a free expression heat, flying with the music.
The judges will evaluate the technical aspect of the moves made, as well as the artistic elements.
Since 2018 the Wind Games has been a venue for Junior Freestyle contests; a category for children aged between 4 and 14.
